PATIALA: The Royal City

Patiala, one of the most visisted cities in Punjab, is located around the Qila Mubarak in Southeastern Punjab. It was established in 1763 by Sidhu Jet Chieftain “Baba Ala Singh”. The 4th largest city in Punjab was designed and developed in adherence to temple architecture. It has emerged as a significant centre of sports and education in the state. It hosts Raja Bhalindra sports complex, Yadavindra sports stadium, polo ground, Rink Hall, National Institute of Sports and Dhruv Pandav Cricket Stadium.
